“I can’t sleep I’m too excited” hope things go little better than last year when the night before we traveled water started pouring through the bedroom ceiling. But that’s last years disaster and something totally different is bound to happen this year!

I get to sleep at about 11:30 and before I know it the alarm goes off but today I have no problems getting up in fact I don’t even hit the snooze button up dressed and raring to go.
5:30AM and dads knocking on the door to take us to the airport, Kate quickly falls back to sleep in the car and 1 hour later were pulling into terminal 2 at Manchester, Kate grabs a trolley and were soon of in search of the virgin check in desk we firstly go to totally the wrong side of the check in area and I start to panic because I cant see any Virgin desks “Kate are you sure we should be in terminal 2?” tickets checked and yes we are in the right place so set off to the other end of the check in hall and as if by magic the virgin desk appears. There’s no queue and on the way to the desk we are approached by a guy in a virgin uniform who wants to see our passports and tickets, I’m thinking we have been singled out for a free upgrade but he’s thinking make sure the morons have there tickets, never mind we get checked and its time to relax.
First thing on my plan was to get a nice full English breakfast but I should have known that’s not possible in Manchester airport. We board the plane and I’m quite excited as I haven’t been on a plane this big before and I’ve heard good things about virgin. We get to our seats which are the ones we have booked and things are looking good, more room than last year, a pillow and nice little ruck sack full of girly stuff. As luck would have it we get 3 seats between the 2 of us so we are able to spread out a little which makes the flight a lot more comfortable, we watch Moulin Rouge (Strange but good), Dr Dolittle 2(ok ish),Shrek(Excellent) and Bridgette Jones diary(Good) and 9 hours later we are arriving in Orlando.
On approach to the airport the pilot warns us about some bad weather in the area and as we land its just starting to rain,by the time we taxi to the air bridge the rain is bouncing 6” and fork lightning fills the dark grey sky. Everyone stands up as the plane stops and a couple of minutes later the captain tells us to sit back down as they wouldn’t let us of the Plane because of the weather.
After about 15 mins they let us off the plane and pass fairly painlessly through immigration and fight our way through the crowds to get a place next to the luggage carousel. Ok so where are our bags? we wait and wait and the crowd gets smaller And I start thinking im so glad we checked in first cos that means our bags will be off last, eventually they arrive and we go through the have you got anything worth eating with you people and then we come to the baggage X-ray machines. We pass our bags to the man in front of the conveyor belt and he mumbles something about level something and area B and I smile nicely and walk to the other side of the machine. However there is no other side to the machine I then work out this is the thing that takes our bags to the other terminal and I didn’t listen to what he had said and there was no way we would ever find our bags again. Kate why didn’t you listen to the man with the funny mumbling Spanish accent? Our bags are lost forever and its all your fault.
We follow the crowds up to the main terminal building and find our way to the baggage reclaim area, luckily its clearly labeled virgin so faith is restored and the back on. The belt isn’t moving and there’s a #### of lot of people waiting for luggage. After a while a tiny man comes out from behind the carousel to tell us that because of the bad weather they can’t send up the luggage so we have another delay. It’s hot and Humid and people are tired, patience is starting to run thin when the belts start up and the luggage starts to arrive and yet again ours is last. On to the Mears coach and 30 mins later we arrive at our hotel, last stop of course, anyone notice a theme beginning.
We get the keycard for the room and make our way to the ninth floor the hotel room seems Ok but not as nice as the Rosen Center from last year, I take a quick shower while Kate unpacks and then I watch TV while Kate takes a shower. Feeling a little hungry we head off to get something to eat, the hotel reception is Ice cool and I notice that the condensation on the doors and windows is on the outside which I thought was novel.
We head up I-drive on foot in the pouring rain and stop Pizza Hut our favorite restaurant, maybe not but I just want a quick feed and then off to bed. Chicken munchers and Flaming hot Jalapenos and a large chicken supreme pizza and 9 gallons of re-filled pepsi. $28 and off to bed

See you tomorrow if your not bored already[B]
