Disney deposit refund

Hi guys

Cancelled my disney booking for sept they said i would get a refund in 14 days - that was on like 24th June.

Got another email from them on 1st July saying my booking would be cancelled and they would refund in 14 days

Not sure if it should be 14 days from original email and i need to chase it or if it should be 14 days from the last email in which case they still have a couple of days to sort it

Just wondering if anyone else has had theirs?

Not had a refund as yet but one booking was cancelled 30th june,one booking 9th july.From what I've seen,seems around 3 weeks to refund generally so hopefully you will get your refund asap

Hi we cancelled 6/7 weeks ago and got total refund 2 days.

I think that ours was refunded within 2 weeks but it showed up as though it had been refunded at the same date that it was originally paid - so I had to scroll back to the transactions in October 2019 to find the refund.

We were meant to go in September but cancelled when the email first came through to give us the option and got the refund last week, still waiting on the magic bands refund as we upgraded them. Think that was around 3 1/2 weeks to get the money back.

We cancelled on the day that the e-mail came out, refund received mid week last week

We cancelled on day of email and received cancellation invoice about 2 weeks ago. Called Disney at the weekend to chase and was told that the refund was sat waiting but hadn't been actioned to send me the money. CM member wasn't sure why but did it there and then.

thanks guys thats super useful to know - I've done back through my statement and no sign of the refund yet - will give it another week and chase if it hasnt shown by then

We cancelled last week and received the refund in full a few days later. I’d call.
