Busy Day guide July / Aug 2020

Hi,

Wanting to plan our holiday and the busy day guide using published on the Dibb yet. Does anyone know the best days to visit parks from previous summers ? We’re going 22nd July until 5th august. Or does it change every year ?

Thanks

I’m waiting impatiently too.
Looks like there’s another 1-2 months to wait.

Hope that helps. I have no idea if it changes year by year. Sorry.

Are you onsite at wdw or offsite? The EMH are pretty set in stone so you can check what days had EMH previous years and use those as a guide. We always travel in July-August. We use EMH for the first week and get up early to get to the parks, have a mid afternoon break and then head to a different park in the evening.

The weekends are best avoided for water parks, we find Tues to Thurs the best days for these.

This summer it was AK has EMH on a Monday and Saturday 8am to 9am. MK is a Friday 8am to 9am and had evening hours on a Wednesday 10pm to midnight. Epcot had EMH Thursday 8am to 9pm and Tuesday evening 9pm to 11pm. HS had EMH on Sunday 8am to 9am.

Of course if you are offsite you are best off avoiding EMH.

Have fun planning.

Welcome to the DIBB!

As mentioned above, the busy day guide for July and August won't be published until mid-December and mid-January, respectively. That's when Disney first releases details about park hours, EMH, etc for these months.

Please note that Disney does sometimes change it's park hours and EMH days after initial release - it can even change them just days or weeks beforehand. So the recommended parks/days on the busy day guide can change at any time.

If you want an early idea of which parks might be recommended on which days, you could look at the busy day guide from earlier this year and use that as a rough guide. Here are the ones for July 2019 and August 2019:

July: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/bus...?hours=07+2019

August: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/bus...?hours=08+2019

Look at the days of the week in the above, not at the dates. So, for example, Magic Kingdom was recommended on Thursdays but not recommended on Wednesdays. It will probably be similar next year.

We leave on the 21st.

The worst bit of planning is the lull after you’ve booked adrs and you’re waiting to book fast passes. 😬

Couldn't agree more, that is the longest wait.
