The train is the next easiest. You can get up and walk around. IIRC the food (certainly first-class) was pretty good.

The plane is the last resort as you have to be there at the airport so long before the flight and as already been mentioned you have a very limited carry.

As I said, it is all down to personal circumstance and choice.
