Mobile Half board plus - hot drinks

Here now, in Sequoia Lodge. We don’t have a kettle or hot drink facilities. Am I right in thinking that we get a hot drink from a machine for half board plus or did I imagine that?! Thanks, Sarah

Yes there are hot drinks machines around the hotel. You can scan your magic pass at the machine and get one free hot drink per person per day. It’s not linked to the meal plan, anyone staying gets this.

Give concierge a call from your room as they should be able to tell you where the closest machine to you is.

Also, you can request a kettle free of charge if you want one.

Take instant hot sachet with you. Hot choc and coffee work well with hot water.

Bit late now but you can always get a kettle free from reception. They are not the norm in Europe, it's very much a British obsession!

I think you can still buy a pack of tea/coffee/milk from reception too. We just take a travel kettle with mugs and spoons that pack inside it, and those 2-in-1 sachets of coffee so no need for milk.

It's 4 hot drinks per person per day. It's not just the plus plan either as we were on the standard dining plan in the Cheyenne.

It's definitely 4 though it took DH and DD a day or two to work this out while they were doing the nightly drinks run. There seems to be zero information available about it which is a shame as they never saw anyone else at the machines. DD was amazed she could get 4 hot chocolates a day, not that she actually did but the idea of it was enough to make her day lol

The cups are those horrible small plastic ones that are a nightmare to carry though so grab a paper cup in Starbucks to reuse or else bring your own.
