Can’t answer the bus question but can answer the cups. The mugs aren’t eligible for free refills at the parks if that is your question- however you can get free refills at any of the other Disney hotels on site.

It's a fairly central resort ..about 20 mins to anywhere. BUT you never know how long you will wait for the bus (2 to 30 mins on our aug trip) or how the traffic will be.

From leaving the resort, if there's no heavy traffic, it takes appx 20 minutes to get to get to Magic Kingdom. Very early in the morning the journey was very quick; a little later in the morning/afternoon there were more people boarding the bus so it took a few more minutes.

we rang up about 10days before (when we where in the US so got the US customer service ) we asked them rather than faxing or calling the front desk , we specifically asked for Rancho's 7A and that's what we got when we checked in , I also mentioned that it was my Birthday when staying there so that might of Helped. As they said they put a special note on my request.

They always have the disclaimer that they can't guarantee room requests.

I've also heard of people getting moved when they were't happy with their room allocation on check in but I guess that's if they have a room available where you want to go .

As other posters have said it can depend on traffic / and the amount of people that want to get on the bus etc to get an exact time.

If you are planning on booking dining or fast passes and want to get there for a specific time I'd allow at least an hour if not more as you also have to factor in clearing security and the gate entry before you actually get into the park.

We arrive tomorrow and have requested casitas 4 as we want to be first on and first off the buses. Fingers crossed we get it!

We are off to Coronado Springs in January, having two mobility scooters to get on and off the bus. What would be the best place for us to be for bus and shop access?
