SeaWorld Dolphin Up-Close Tour/Epcot
Morning all,
Our first visit to Florida this year andlooking to do the Up-Close Dolphin Tour when in SeaWorld. We are a party of 8 (2 kids, 2 parents and 4 grandparents) and not all everyone wants to do it but the grandparents would like to see the kids do the experience. Does anyone know if there is some sort of viewing area where people can watch the experiences or are they done behind closed doors and therefore the only way of watching would be to take part? Also, on another note, we have heard mixed reviews about Epcot, some tell us not to bother visiting and others say it's their favourite park. What's everyone's views? Would hate to not visit and then regret at a later date...but likewise would hate to spend a day there and not enjoy it when we could have done something else. Thanks in advance |

Hi & welcome to the Dibb
Firstly get yourself a countdown up, click on mine and follow the instructions Secondly, dunno about the dolphin encounter as never done it but as for Epcot, we love it, Soarin (my fave) and Test Track are fab rides Illuminations are a must see & World Showcase is lovely to stroll around So if you're not sure, go later in the day to do a couple of rides, wander around WS & watch Illuminations

Thanks Ninja!
And thanks for the info on the countdown...can't quite believe how quick it's coming round now! I think we've decided to go to Epcot. Seems silly to do everything else and miss Epcot out. On another note, I've emailed SeaWorld and they've confirmed "For family members who are not participating, they can observe from the upper side of the exhibit, on the pathway toward the Dolphin Stadium. You can see from a distance the entire interaction as this tour is not behind the scenes." Thanks again |

Yeah for the dolphins you are on one side of their habitat and then the ones who dont pay are on the other but higher up (about 12 feet) in a viewing area so they can take photos etc.
