Question Waterparks - Sun loungers?

Just wondering if any of the Waterparks (BB, TL & WW) have sun loungers for you to leave towels on and go back to every now and again if you want a minute? Also if they do have them is there a charge for the day?

Some places i've been to before (not in Florida) have charged us if they've seen us at the loungers. Just thought it would be handy to know

There are sun-loungers, there is no charge, but if you are only going to leave towels and visit rarely, then please don't take one. You certainly won't be the only person to do this, but it is SO frustrating to all squash onto one lounger and sit next to 4 empty loungers that are never used all day but have towels on them. We spent a whole day in TL last trip, next to a whole cabana full of loungers which were being saved by grandma for a massive family. We never saw more than 2 people there at once all day, but they had about 10 loungers reserved, while we sat there all day with just one lounger to share.

Sorry, that turned into a bit of a rant, and its not directed at you at all, just at my frustrating day last year!

Don't worry I totally understand what your saying. We usually just get one between us so we can go back to eat & drink and to top up on sun cream etc. Also at the waterpark which i was referring to which charged us, we also hired rubber rings so we were frequently going backwards and forwards leaving the rings there and having a bit of time in the shade

Another tip

When you get in the water park RUN! to the loungers (kidding). They tend to fill up really quickly.

I am not a huge fan of water parks (cos they get so packed) and last year we went to TL and some Spanish family decended on us, like literally.

Ian work up and some kid was sitting on HIS sunbed with Ian! can you believe that. I felt like i had grown a new head as the nan was perched on my shoulder! "Hello could you get any closer"

So yess off the subject a little but, get there early to actually get a bed!

We used one last year for the 1st time as my cousins dh had a headache and lay down for the morning whilst we all went off and had fun. We don't normally bother just leave the stuff in the locker and keep going back to that if we need to.

The Disney water parks are great, you will find loungers if you want them.We always have a locker as well and don't forget to get a refillable soft drink mug. these are greatand you can refill them as much as you want on the same day.

Hear hear - It's so annoying.

If you are going to try to reserve even one lounger, also rent a locker. We had our refillable mug stolen from an unattended lounger at Blizzard Beach once. They gave us a new one for nothing though.

We usually just get one lounger between us, and there are also little chairs, so we have a few of those, so we have a base for our stuff & to sit down & have drinks, snack etc. I like to read while sunbathing, and the sunloungers are flat and un-adjustable, so I sit on a chair and put my feet up on another!

We found Blizzard Beach to be better for finding somewhere to sit, Typhoon Lagoon gets crowded very quickly, and the seats do run out.

We have just come back and here are our tips:

Don't bother with towel hire at the srart of the day; a] there is a big queue to hire towels in the morning and b] you end up leaving it on a lounger all day .

Plus you dry off really quickly in June/July/August so a towel is more of a bind than anything.

Loungers are everywhere, we prefered the area near Crushin Gusher because it was quieter, and there is a great zero entry pool where they are not so fussy about putting the chairs in the edge of the water so you can dip your toes in the water.

Hire towels as and when you need them i.e. when you leave. On our third trip however we found that by the time we had walked back to the car we were BONE dry! (well sweaty dry at least) We then went to our villa for a shower and then out for the evening. The showers on site are quite busy around closing time and we prefered the showers in our villa.

Oh and one last thing... HAVE A GREAT TIME, yeah

LOL
