DFTW Deposit

Is the deposit due when you first register your interest or at the 8 month mark?

I think it's $750 - is that still right?

Yup sarah is right, unless you want a private reception booked through Disney, dessert party etc it's $1000 plus $500 for charges on the day which is refundable after the wedding. Everything else is due 30 days before the wedding.

Hi!We are having a wishes wedding at sea breeze pointe followed by reception at the attic. We have been quoted $2,000 which we have to pay as a deposit at the eight month mark.Maybe this is different for escape pakages etc?
The min expenditure has to be payed 90 days prior to your wedding. $1000 of the deposit goes towards paying the min expenditure. the remainder $1000 is held on to until 30 days prior to your wedding (which will is kept in case you go over your budget.) If you spend over your budget anything outstanding has to be payed 30 days prior to the wedding. If you do not over spend you get your remainder $1000 dollors refunded to you. Hope that helps.

I think this is for a wishes wedding? Correct me if I am wrong though!

Can I clarify then the deposit due 8 months before is $1000

We are not having private reception/dessert party etc, just the basic Escape package

When is the refundable $500 due? Unless that doesn't apply to simple Escape package?

And the remainder 1 month before then?

It would be $750 at the 8 months stage with the remainder due 30 days before. Bear in mind this is for 2010 pricing so it may change by 2012 though!
