Mobile Booking through French site?

Hi guys,

So we are all looking to go to DLP for my mums 60th in September. We’ve seen the deal on the French site which offers 35% off and under 12’s go free. Can I book this deal over the UK one and if so can I do it through the French site? We’re wanting to stay in the Newport bay hotel and the price looks very reasonable but I can’t find prices for the buffet breakfast, does anyone know how much this is? We want to keep costs down as much as possible so any ideas on good but cheapish breakfast places? We would prob want to do a breakfast, snack in park then sit down meal at night. Would £200 a day for a family of 2 adults, 2 kids (9 and 3) be doable?

Thanks for any advice

You sure can book via the French site, it doesn't matter that you are in the UK. If you open the website in google chrome you can set it to translate to English for you making it easier to book.

One thing to factor in is that you will be paying in Euro's so try and use a credit card that doesn't charge extra for foreign transactions or factor in any bank charges to the overall cost. All your confirmation paper work will also be in French but again it isn't really an issue.

The breakfast buffet is €26 per day for adults and €23 for children, you can add this on during the booking process if you want it.

However there are other cheaper ways of having breakfast - you could visit the local supermarket and stock up on pastries etc to eat in your room - there are also coffee machines in the hotel and you can get a coffee each per day.

Or you can visit Starbucks, McDonalds, Annette's Diner or New York Sandwiches in Disney Village.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Stubbs86, I’ll defo look into the google chrome thing. Yeah I had a look at the Earl of Sandwich site and NY sandwich too, looks like that’s maybe the best way to go. We would like to do a character breakfast/dinner their and because we would only be doing the one we would like to try get characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald etc. Do you happen to know what characters are at Plaza Gardens, Cafe Mickeys, Inventions etc?

Character breakfast is only at Plaza Gardens - you usually get to meet the likes of Mickey, Minnie, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Pluto. It can differ but its usually the same.

Great advice above. We booked with the exact same offer on the French website last year, and it was all very straightforward. Your confirmation emails, etc will be in French, but it’s all easy enough to follow.

We met Mickey, Daisy, Eeyore, Piglet, Scrooge and Tigger at the character breakfast in Plaza Gardens.
In Cafe Mickey, we met Mickey, Chip, Dale, Pluto & Goofy, but I’ve forgotten who else!
In Inventions, we’ve met Mickey, Captain Hook, Chip, Dale, Tigger, Pluto, Goofy, Eeyore, Donald, Smee, the White Rabbit, (2 visits, with 8 characters each time.)
