I'll go against the flow! We've stayed at both and preferred HRH - nice easy stroll to US, fantastic pool and a great atmosphere. RPR was also lovely, but just found it a bit bland.

RPR *is* a longer walk (using google maps etc to plan the route does not show you the correct walking route from HRH). RPR is only a slightly longer walk and not enough to be a pain. But we do prefer the closeness and ease of HRH but also the overall atmosphere and pool area etc.

Its really not too noisy. Have stayed at both HRH and RPH and there is little between them (though we did have a photo of Springsteen in our room at HRH … not sure how they knew we are massive fans! ). The memorabilia around HRH is quite interesting. The pools are not much different and both shallow. The music under the water at HRH is nothing much to write home about tbh. The walk to the theme parks is definitely nearer from HRH though a pleasant stroll anyway from RPH.

I’ve stayed at both and would be happy to stay at either again. I agree that the walk from HRH is closer to US than the walk is from RPR to IOA. We would’ve gone with RPR had it not been for the great deal we got for club level at HR and the walking distance in the heat in August.

When the children were younger we stayed in the RPR twice and enjoyed both occasions.

Then they turned into teenagers so we booked HRH, and we again enjoyed the experience. It didn't seem any noisier.

We've booked HRH again for this year.
