Wow, that’s really surprised me! I never thought for a moment that it would open whilst we are there in August. It’ll be very interesting to see how access and fastpasses will be handled. Hopefully it also means that the Skyliner will be up and running!

Yes, we're really pleased. I know it's going to be crazy, but we're not planning to go back for a few years, so Pandora, Toy Story land and this will all be new for us this trip!
Told my husband who foolishly said, 'Do you think the crowds will have died down a bit if we're going 2 months after opening?'

I bet they will issue fast passes for the area and the single ride opening. So if you have one for the ride you can access the area , but have more FP's just to get into the area and have no standby Q , or in the first few weeks at least.

I arrive on October 23rd. Happy that it’s opening, albeit in 2 phases. May have calmed down a little bit by then, but somehow - I doubt it!

You may get lucky with a soft opening 😁

Oh dear, I must be the only one dreading this and being disappointed that it opens so early! I really thought we’d miss it and we don’t go until 20th of October! It will be so so busy... husband used to be a massive Star Wars fan but after he appeared on “ I love 1970 ( something)” and Carrie Fisher called Star Wars fans sad... he’s gone completely off it... boxes of Star Wars stuff now collecting dust in my loft... anyway, I digress... I’m not looking forwards to this... not been back since 2016 and tower of terror and rock n roll roller coaster are my favourite rides... now I’m worried if we will even get into the park 😩

We leave 28th but actually happy as hoping will be a bit quieter with people booking to go when it opens! Plus an excuse to go back in a couple of years 😂

This is exactly how I feel! We go on the 28th September and I was really hoping it won't open until after we had been!

So glad I got cheap flights and extended our stay for a couple of days. Hopefully the Skyliner will be open as we move to CBR to get us to the park as I expect busses to be rammed.
