Mobile Quick Service Dining Plan

If you have the quick service dining plan, can you use the refillable mug in the parks or is it just for use in your hotel?
Are there any non fizzy drinks that you can use to refill it?
If you are using your credits for breakfast at your hotel, can the kids have cereal and a hot choice like waffles, or can they only have one option?
Thanks in advance!

Just your hotels resort...

You can get a refillable mug at the water parks for all day use - its something like $15 dollars and you can use it at both parks. Its like an extra $10 a day to use again.

No refillable mug at the parks.

There is none fizzy options, coffee and tea as well... Its the coca cola freestyle machines. Look it up and online to see all the options (although not every machine has every option)

EDIT: Apparently these machines are only at these locations. Not sure about the others.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter

So maybe say where you are staying so someone can help further.

You can get things like cereal and pastries with snack credits. Hot options tend to use a quick service credit and then what you get depends on where you are buying from.

A Quick Service Credit can be used for a complete meal plus a drink. Examples of a complete meal in many resorts for breakfast would be a breakfast platter - often eggs, bacon, sausage etc - or pancakes with either fruit or bacon or sausage, or waffles with similar. You can "swap" the drink part of the meal for anything which qualifies as a snack - these tings can be identified with a little white a purple square DDP logo on the menu or price card. Examples at breakfast would be single serve cereal cups, a croissant or pastry or a piece of fruit. (You then use your refillable mug to get a drink instead). If you don't want to swap the drink (which might be the case if you were having lunch or dinner and wanted alcohol) then you can pick up the extra items using the snack credits included in your plan.

If you've not used the dining plan before (or even if you have!) it can seem overwhelming at first, but staff are very good at explaining what you can have, so just ask and they will help you get the best value from your credits.

You can use the refillable mug in any resort not just the one you are staying at. I see a lot of people heading into the parks with mugs they have just filled up but there are no refilling stations in the parks so then you have to carry them around all day.

You would need to look at the menus to see what you can get, I would think cereal and a hot item would be two different credits but occasionally children’s meals come with a “side” and small drink. It will not be buffet style dining at QS though

Also, there is no differentiation between "child" and "adult" with Quick Service credits. The adult breakfast portions for things like pancakes are huge (think three big pancakes plus sides) so you can often share one between two. You can also use one QS credit to pick up three snack items - so if you just want pastries for breakfast one day you can use a single credit on three of those.

I recommend the minute maid lemonade too we drank that quite a lot. We took the Robinsons dilute with us and added it to the free iced water in the parks.
