It doesn’t bother me to be honest. I find the longer it’s on the less I notice it. We flew to Europe last Sept and probably wore it for around 7 hours with airports, flights, transport etc and found that it was much easier than wearing for shorter periods. Forgot about it for the most part.

The blue medical type ones are more breathable in my experience so I would wear these and did so on a trip to Turkey last year. Granted it wasn’t long haul but the aircon helps too.
A minor inconvenience which doesn’t factor into my decision process on whether to go

I also wear one all day at work, so it wouldn't bother me too much. Although its definitely more of a struggle for those who wear glasses!

I've taken 2 US flights and 10 EU flights so far during the pandemic and I don't even think about the mask. It's normal.

I drink water almost constantly while on a plane anyway so rarely have a mask on, I'll put it on if having a nap but that's about it.

I wear them at work and a visor pinny and gloves and have to do a lot of moving and handling in them. You get used to it. I cannot climb stairs with one on though without having a bit of a panic - I have asthma. It will be annoying but I'm willing to do it to get to Orlando.

If it does bother you there are some masks on Amazon that are recommended for use on a plane, they are quite thin and very breathable, not cheap though. You'd hardly know you're wearing one.

I've actually said if they drop the mask requirement for flights, and allow us to fly in October, that I'll be wearing a mask for the return leg.

I find the air on flights so dry, when I try to sleep I end up trying to "re breathe" my expelled air as it contains moisture... I try and cover my mouth and nose with a blanket or something which usually falls away leaving me with a dry tickly throat and rubbish sleep! I will def be wearing a mask (and eye mask) to sleep as I think this would really help with the plane air!
