Fav airlines no longer around

I ended up watching an old Holiday Airport Orlando episode on youtube (actually a good watch!
)

and I saw some good nostalgia as I had previously holidayed with travel city direct to orlando. It did get me thinking about other airlines that have folded but had previously enjoyed flying on, so I'll get us started...

Thomas Cook. Our 2016 flight with them was really good. They made a fuss of the kids and let them go in the cockpit when we landed.

When I was a child I always wanted to fly with British Caledonian but never got the chance. With work my preferred airline was BMI and got loads of points with them/Star Alliance, many of which are still sitting in my BA Avios account now.

US Airways - I know there were jokes about the Cain Crew being slightly older, however we always found them a brilliant service to fly with.

Used them in 2007 I think, flight had to return to Orlando due to engine fire
Lovely airline crew far more professional than the red suited lot.

I don't have a favourite as such , price first but I don't like virgin since I flew with them to MCO in about 2002, awful crew, entitled. I do like BA now, particularly throughout the pandemic they're my go to airline.
