Disappointed in Steve Allen, LBC presenter

I don't often catch Steve these days of retirement but I used to enjoy the last hour of his show when I was getting ready for work.
However he has today seen fit to refer to a 19 year old girl as a chubby little thing, sorry Steve but you aren't big and you aren't clever. And as he is referring to Tilly Ramsay on Strictly I am surprised he didn't mention the size of a few other celebritiy dancers in the same vein but they are a lot older than 19.
Well done to Tilly for fighting her own corner, I'm sure her Dad has plenty to say on the subject but she has given an excellent reply and I'm sure an apology will be forthcoming.

A very unfair comment but her dad isn’t afraid to shout, swear and call people names but I’m sure he won’t like it when the shoes on the other foot.

But that’s her dad not her. It’s very hard for young girls constantly judged on their appearances and the comment was unnecessary and nasty

No I’m sure he won’t, but 2 wrongs don’t make a right do they. He would have been jumped on if he fat shamed a 19 year old girl, and quite rightly so

I just read about this and wondered if he had looked in a mirror lately. Tilly was very dignified in her response. Also it’s her dad who has the big sweary mouth not her.

She seems like a lovely normal girl, with a lovely face and infectious smile.

I’m not suggesting she deserved it because her father is nasty to people?

Perhaps you haven’t seen how aggressive, rude and insulting her father is to so many people of all ages (male and female).
