If you pop on to the Uber app, you can do a dummy booking between any two destinations and it will give you an estimated cost. That way you can also see the different types of vehicles available out there. A standard Uber should cost $25 - $30 dollars between the two (just bear in mind they are only carrying 3 passengers at the moment though as nobody is allowed up front with the driver).

If you enter a journey into the google maps app, it gives an estimate for how much Lyft would be - it's estimating $22-26 for a standard size, $32-37 for Lyft XL

We have in the past normally taken a taxi from outside, it costs about $70. The taxis are not plentiful so based on that and price, probably not the best option.

Would I need a standard Uber as it’s just me and my suitcase I’m travelling solo

Yes, you'll be fine in an Uber X. You may also want to look at Uber Comfort, usually only a dollar or two more but guarantees a nicer car and high rated driver - nice when solo.

If you do take an uber or lyft be sure to tip your driver well. Having driven for both recently the driver will be making about $12-$15 of the fare you pay to go from the airport to the theme parks (including paying for tolls).

Do you normally tip on the app or with dollars? I found myself just dropping the drivers a couple of dollars each trip.

We just tipped on the app but if they were really good then used to drop them a few dollars in cash.
