Wow! We did it on our first trip (2012), and again on our 3rd when we took my mum (2015), but there's no way I'd pay that price for it! Just not worth that price tag IMO.

So it's more than twice as much as afternoon tea in London...I think.

They added alcohol last year, I think that raised it to $99 then which is still the current price. Pretty sure I paid $79 in 2019.
That is for the garden viewing, the price you've mentioned is the terrace seating which has always been more. Edit: Just went back to check, I paid $69 in 2019, it went up to $79 in 2020. So it is a further $20 increase for the new show. The $99 price I was thinking of was the previous terrace price. So that one only went up $15, bargain. Edited at 12:02 AM. |

I haven’t done one but I have priced it up in the past and would have said about $75. That is quite an increase!

Wow you would have to eat an awful lot of cake to make that work for a family of four!

Now that I'm not on my phone, here are the three different parties available. OP only linked to the most expensive one.
Dessert party with garden viewing area - $99 adult / $59 child Pre-show seating - disneyworld/dining...ty-plaza-view/ After-show seating - disneyworld/dining...ty-plaza-view/ Dessert party with terrace viewing area - $114 adult / $69 child Single seating - disneyworld/dining...dessert-party/ If the cakes haven't changed from the previous menu, you wouldn't even want to try and eat your money back. I don't remember any of them being good. One exception might be the ooey gooey, but I don't think they were serving that on the night I went. It was worth what I paid (just me, one ticket always easier to justify than a family's worth) to have a good spot for HEA without having to stake it out for ages, but I wouldn't do it again. Especially not for $99 minimum. Edited at 01:01 PM. |
