Which water park

Planning for our 2022 trip and would like 1 water park day.

I’ve done BB and TL but not for years. With a 11 year old and a 8 year old which do you think is better? Did Volcano Bay last time and they loved it - especially the rapids where you wear a life jacket and the kids slide area.

In my opinion TL is far superior to BB! Although neither are a patch on Volcano Bay

I've only ever gone VB but to me as an adult it would be hard to beat. Well set out, with some good thrill type rides, whilst having an overall relaxing vibe.

I've seen both Disney water parks and not overly amazed as I wont be going with kids. This trip coming I've decided to try Aquatica

Aquatica is great. Definitely better than either Disney water park

TL just about beats BB but then the slides at BB are great.

We love Aquatica and it has the same sort of "Lazy" river (Roa Rapids) - in 2019, we headed there one day when it had been raining and almost went round on our own - brilliant. Nicely placed cabanas as well.

I think it depends on the tickets you get - if you have TL and BB built into your disney tickets - Aquatica have a deal on at the moment - aquatica/orlando/tickets/

For me… and it is close between 1,2,3.
1. Volcano Bay. Great rides, great atmosphere.
2. Aquatica. Great rides.
3. Typhoon Lagoon. Rides in 1&2 are better.
4. Blizzard Beach. Doesn’t do it for me.. other than the two big ones.

So it’s been a few years, and we go in August,so it’s busy.

Aquatica - nice idea, but the concrete floor got so hot that we couldn’t walk on it.

Volcano Bay - great rides but the queuing system sucked. We literally only got on 3 rides all day using the virtual queue tapa tapa thing.

Typhoon Lagoon - decent but old. Really powerful wave machine.

Blizzard Beach - our favourite, family friendly and always spaces available.
