Easiest to drive -People carrier vs SUV

So we are looking at hiring a car for our Disney resort stay in April as the kids want to go to KSC.
We’ve got a good price from Andy but the people carrier is £15 a day cheaper than the SUV.
I would prefer the SUV (drive a qashqai at home) but would prefer to save the money. Is a people carrier easy to drive?
I’ve never driven in the US but hubby has, is the people carrier a tough one for a beginner?

I would say you wont really notice much difference.

I drive an X3 here but did have a People Carrier some year ago when our Daughter and her Family joined us. The People Carrier has plenty of gadgets, is actually easier for people to get in and out of and is similar in petrol consumption. About the same height so I was ok with it in about 5 mins.

My car of choice over there would be a people carrier as it makes getting too and from the airport so much easier with the cases. I don't think you'll notice much difference between the two and driving over there is generally easier because the cars are automatic.

Thank you both. We’ve gone with the people carrier.

We always hire a people carrier even when just the 3 of us as they are so easy to drive. They are roomy, comfy & being automatic they almost drive themselves! We usually fold some seats down to have all the extra room, feels a real treat we love them

Depends what size of SUV you were thinking of.
People carrier is slightly larger than a UK Zafira.
Its SUV equivalent is similar to a Ford Ranger with a back and extra seats in it.
Think a Qashqai would be considered mid size to standard.
