Qsdp - Ordering kids meal using adult credit?

Am considering upgrading our 9yr old to 'adult' on our free qsdp for May given the new changes where the adult and child credits are now differentiated. Cost is just £20 for the 14 nights, so price is very good value. However there will probably be times when she would prefer the child's menu.
Is there likely to be any issues with using an adult credit to buy a child menu on these occasions - it's in wdw's favour financially so presumably would be ok? Anyone have any experience with this as yet?

Cant imagine an issue buying a child meal with an adult credit ...Disney would love that.

Does anyone know if disney will do a larger portion of a kids meal if using an 'adult' QS credit to purchase it?

Nope , we bought the cheeseburger pods in ak as they are no longer on the adult menu but it’s the same size. Still took an adult dxddp credit , I wouldn’t exactly call it a kids portion though , nothing like you get here . To be fair the portions in Disney are pretty huge , 2 kids could easily share an adult main and my mum ate kids meals a lot as it’s just far too much food.

It probably depends. My sister was able to get an adult portion of chicken nuggets at CSR. They were only on the kids menu.

Yes we did this at CSR too but we didn't ask anywhere else as usually what we wanted was on the adult menu.

As other have said it will vary. We upgraded our 5 year old in 2018. Mainly to use the credits for ourselves 😊
Anyway we did get adult portions of kids meals, sometimes they will accommodate sometimes they won’t.

Thanks for the heads up - we have now upgraded to if our kids to the adult DDP. Bargain for £20pp!

Now that they have changed the kids DoBs to make them 10 years old, will this cause any issues with linking in MDE to their profiles for booking fast passes etc?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

I think you will find it will already be changed. We upgraded our 5 yo in 2018 and had no problems.
A cm did a bit of double take at no once but no issues.
