Thought I’d resurrect this as I need to seriously start thinking about plan b for our last two weeks in August
What has everyone else got in mind as a summer/autumn back up?

Im booked to go November, plan B would be a break to one of the canary islands. If that not possible then rebook for next year.. I will continue to change and rebook until i get to go on holiday!

We doing our plan b now, we had 4 nights in great yarmouth in a Premier Inn. Had fab weather and enjoyed it. Not so confident about our Aug trip happening now. Will do some day trips and kids want to do Alton Towers too.

We have a plan b, we’ll move our august road trip to next year & book a European holiday instead for this year, although having priced up some, at nearly £3k for us three for B&B in cyprus in august - it’s not looking good for plan b !

Me neither but I’m starting to think if we don’t have one and we don’t end up going to Florida we will do nothing and Dh and dd won’t have had a break from work
I’m finding it hard to think of a U.K. option we can get even slightly excited about

We don't have a Plan B, if we can't go in September that's it for a few years as we won't be able to go for a while.
