I only use Ebay if I can’t find what I want elsewhere or something that I know is older than currently available.
Recently sold something for the first time in years, it was easy to list but when it came to getting paid, they don’t use PayPal anymore to pay you and I had to give my bank details and wait for approval. Complete hassle and time consuming, won’t be going there much in future.

I never sell anymore on ebay, sold a brand new pair of trainers couple of years ago, sent by tracked delivery. Guy tried to say he hadn't received them until I sent him a copy of his signature he gave the postman duh🙄then all of a sudden they were the wrong size, so suddenly he had the trainers but they weren't the right size.
This guy tried everything to get his money back even opening a case against me so I opened one up against him for fraud, this went on for weeks until I won... never again.

My Dd buys all her beads on Amazon, there seems to be blue on there but not sure if they’re what you’re looking for

I have a feedback (100%) and over 2700. Strangely, I use the same name as on the DIBB.
I was also an accredited EBay fraud investigator in my previous job (A great 2 day social at Richmond on Thames).

Most of my feedback is sales rather than purchases from my days of dealing antiquarian booksellers.

I have ceased selling completely. The fees etc are simply too high and the hassle from chancers too great. I now only buy.

EBay simply is not what it used to be and besides anything else, I simply don’t like the numerous changes to the listing procedure, the package and posting etc over the years. I like simplicity and continuity as well as making my own choices, rather than having them made for me.

I have ordered from eBay thanks, they are ridiculously cheap and hopefully very pretty. I am going to enhance a cushions very clear in my head, obviously doing it is another matter.

Sold on eBay years ago, said then it'd be the one and only time. A London florist, for a £1.30 purchase/post, claimed the item hadn't arrived, I bluffed, said I'd chase via the PO ref number, within 10 mins she replied to say she hadn't realised it'd arrived... righto. At the time, I 'made' 89p by the time eBay/Paypal took their cut. I believe it's wrong that Paypal place commission against postage charges.

Re Gumtree, my experience is many don't remove ads when the item's sold and ignore messages. One said the item was sold, yet a week on it's still on the site. Nowt as queer as folk.
