August 2009 for me...

I didn’t post very much in the early days, just the odd question re villas, flights etc

In recent times I found the courage to join in on this chat forum and am so glad I did

I was nervous as everyone seemed to already know each other but I have been overwhelmed at times by people’s kindness and support, what a wonderful bunch of people

I think I’m 2008 , I was recommended on paid to shop site which focused on tesco points which were prolific at the time
We had a huge discount on our first two trips and some invaluable tips from here xx

Joined in 2002 too. I was a member of a primarily American board then joined this one at the outset I think. I post a fair bit and I’m especially grateful if I have any kind of question about anything and I start a thread and I can guarantee I’ll be given some very helpful answers.
If I ever go away and end up with sketchy WiFi or no WiFi like on cruises I definitely get DIBB withdrawal symptoms!
So then after I’ve checked in at the airport first thing I do is find a comfy seat and DIBB binge! So far I’ve managed to avoid missing my flight!

2007 for me the year I took my family to Disney for 2 weeks, we had the free Disney dining plan which I learned about on here, the gratuities were paid for as part of the plan, and the dollar was 2 to the pound, I have said since that being able to take my family to Disney is probably on of my greatest achievements 🙂

I joined in 2013/2014 while planning for my 2014 trip, planning another trip at the moment, but I’m not as excited as in previous years at the moment, but I’m sure in a few months I’ll be back on searching for tips and tricks!

2009 for me, lurked for a bit before our second trip with the kids May of that year and took the plunge.

Don’t “do” social media elsewhere but am here most days even if I don’t post. The Dibb community have helped me in so many ways ranging from restaurant choices, fast pass strategies, getting seats in Dibbers row to what box set to watch next and coping with mental health during our current challenges.

About 2008, I lost my original email and logon information when I changed ISPs so I needed to create a new account in 2013. Met a few dibbers accidentally in DLP, I used to run a distinctive forum picture and had a lot of trippies. Unfortunately ive needed to delete the trippies and my forum picture due to "reasons as part of a divorce some years ago" so I dont have much information on here to help now.
