Universal value resorts
Hey everyone,
What’s everyone’s experiences with Universals value hotels? They all look great and won’t be going to the parks so don’t need express pass ect. Looking to find out everyone’s favourite and why! |

I haven't stayed at Dockside or Surfside (Value) but have at Cabana Bay (Prime Value) which was great. If you stay at the first two you can't pool hop to other resorts, but you can staying at all the others.

I did a little research and dockside and surf side have limited other experiences (if that's what your looking for) where as the cabana bay has bowling, movie nights etc.
Personally I'm not bothered about that and just wanted a base close to aquatica etc |

We stayed at Cabana Bay for 1 night in 2019 and have booked a week there next year. We thought it was a great hotel and one of the pools has a lazy river which is a big hit with our children. Endless Summer is a bit cheaper, but we're happy to pay that extra for the location and pools

Cabana Bay is great. We’ve stayed there twice, once for a full two weeks and again for 9 nights as part of a longer trip. The private entrance to Volcano Bay is unbeatable and if you stay in the Americana section you can be in the park in under 5 minutes from the door of your room. We felt like VB was our pool area even though the pool at Cabana Bay is brilliant too!
You can get refillable mugs in the main building and there’s a quick service place, Starbucks and a bar. There’s also bowling upstairs but we haven’t used that. Highly recommended. We are trying RPR for the first time this year for the express pass for a week, but if we were doing a stay without express pass I’d definitely choose Cabana again!

We stayed at Endless summer (surfside) in October 19 and loved it! We did 21nights there and our children were 10, 7 & 2 at the time. The few things that I was concerned about was not having the room cleaned daily but they did come in each day with fresh towels and emptied the bins and also lack of storage for 5 of us as we had a lengthy stay but we made it work.
We very nearly booked again for next year but settled on a 2 bed suite at Cabana Bay just for a bit of extra room as our eldest will be 13 and already needs time away from her younger brothers. Edited at 05:12 PM. |

Love Aventura.
Very compact hotel. Food court is fabulous. Starbucks in the lobby. Rooftop bar is great. Nice rooms. Great views. Just across from sapphire falls which has the boat plus great food choices. Lovely and not too long a walk into the parks. Fantastic price. Stayed twice, would happily stay again in a heartbeat.
