Firstly are the preferred rooms worth the extra points?

are the remodelled 2 beds any different from the old style

In terms of preferred being worth extra points, as it’s only a difference in location I would not pay more but YMMV

We really like how close the preferred rooms are to DS, we’d consider paying the extra. I suppose it depends how much it matters to you and your family.

Can only talk about the location aspect, personally not worth it for me. I do find it annoying that pre- preferred, no-one wanted Congress, then DS opens up & all of a sudden the Area that we used to stay at is the equivalent of a whole nights stay more expensive per week!We now go to the Grandstand , if we are going to DS we will either take the boat or walk & save those 42 points extra

Remodelled rooms are totally different from the old rooms, I would use the extra points for a remodelled room but not for location.
We used to stay Congress Park before it became preffered now we prefer to stay Grandstand & save the points
We enjoy walking to Disney Springs .

All rooms will be remodelled by Summer. They are really cracking on with it now.

I’d have paid the premium for a remodelled room (like night and day) but when all done I’ll book standard, have one booked for Xmas.
