I use a spray oil - only needs a couple of sprays and they are much nicer than Home fries 😊

I have one and loved it so much bought my daughter one. I use mine most days, for chicken, fish, chips, pizza. chicken strips, and loads more stuff. I wouldn't be without mine.

I’ve got a ninja foodi and honestly it’s one of the best things I’ve bought.
It’s really handy as it heats up so quickly and cooks the items you have mentioned well without having to wait for the whole oven to heat up. As far as cleaning, both the air fry basket and main pot can both go in the dishwasher.. Wouldn’t be without ours and I use it at least 2-3 times a week as it’s a steamer, slow cooker, présure cooker. It’s great for roast chicken. |

I usually par boil, coat in some seasoning and fry light, and stick them in. I find with chips that you can't put too many in at once, and dont cook them that they are so soft that they fall apart! Alternatively I still cook them from scratch, but start in the oven and finish up in the air fryer to crisp them up!

Thanks for all these replies! and all the info about what you can do in them
I love that you can do baked potatoes in them? I'm off to get one today or tomorrow - Must be a sign of the times that I'm getting quite giddy and excited about getting an airfyer! (Right now, whatever gives us joy, eh? )

We have had a tefal actifry for years. My DD was the only one that used to use it. It just sits in the corner of the kitchen now. Never gets used.
She has just got the Ninja foodi. She's cooked a full chicken in it.. The only downside I can see is that its huge and quite heavy. You also can't take the big lid off it, so you have to have an open counter space. |
