BA car hire for 5

Will be moving our BA flydrive booking in a few weeks when flights are released for Xmas I’m not sure which group of car to go for as we usually book a group V but the prices for them are quite a bit more! Can anyone say which would be better choice it will be for 3 adults and 2 teenagers + 5 suitcases and it’s Avis group L , S or Z Any help would be great, thanks

Luggage is your problem here. You won't get 3 adults and 2 teenagers plus suitcases (and don't forget hand luggage) in any normal car. Looking on the Avis website, you are likely to need either a full size SUV or maybe a mini van.

If you are staying onsite then I would get a full size car and send a couple of your party on the DME with most of the luggage.

If you are not staying onsite, then I would check out the difference in cost and again get a full size car but send some of your party by cab/Uber/Lyft with the some of the luggage.

It’s a mini van we usually do but it £900 dearer the ones I have given are all full size suv I’m just not sure which one would be best 🤷
