I wouldn't pay the premium for a balcony especially on such a short cruise. As you have never done a DCL cruise you will not be in your room much and therefore wont appreciate it as much as enjoying the cruise itself and spending that money on other things.
Price wise that seems about right. Are you looking at direct with DCL? UK Travel Agents don't tend to know much about DCL and therefore can often be more hassle than help - for example Virgin Holidays last year gave me a great deal but then messed up my transfers as they didn't realise the cruise itself offered transfers so tried to book me private ones (which worked out well for me in the end but was a pain to sort). Some US specialist travel agents however offer onboard credit with bookings and match the direct price (although you will be paying in $'s so you have to work out if that would work for you). I would always check a few of those but you wont tend to get better than the direct price unless you have a package with disney included type thing (like I did last year).
