Thoughts on the West Coast July 2021
Hey everyone,
Just asking everyone's thoughts for July 2021, do you think it'll be a yes to go ... We're booked for July 2021, LA, Oahu & SanFran. Have been feeling really positive but starting to have doubts. xxx

No you have to have something to look forward to if it has to be changed then just postpone for another date. We are doing the West coast beginning of October 🙏

We are booked for September, moved from December 20.
I am reasonably confident we will get, but who knows, however it’s good to have something booked. But honestly, I probably won’t get too excited or plan much till I’m sure we are going. |

I'm hoping so too!
We're planning a west coast trip plus a week in Hawaii staying at Aulani. Hopefully with the vaccination things will improve and the USA will open up. |

We are booked for 18th August and am just not thinking about it now as I really am not sure which way it will go. We cancelled this august but if it doesn’t go ahead we have Florida booked for 2022 so this will have to take a back burner for 2 years and I will be gutted.

We are booked for August, I'm keeping everything crossed.
We were originally booked for Easter but thought that was prob too soon for the states so we pushed it to August, I'm not expecting 'normal' by then but hoping things will be getting closer to it! Have to have something to keep looking forward to, we have had to move 3 holidays into next year Inc 2 Disney (Paris & Cali), it's not looking so great for Paris at the moment so I'm being positive about August 🤞

We have flights booked for the 14th August. I’m finding it hard to be honest in terms of booking hotels and sorting things to do. We have 3 weeks booked starting in NYC and ending up in LA. I need to book flights from NY to Denver but don’t want to pay out for them in case we have to cancel. All hotels have been booked with free cancellation most are pay when we get there so I’m not tying up money.
But I’m really missing the excitement of planning it all. I’m booking things because they need booking rather than usually getting excited about where to stay, activities and restaurants to visit etc. I need something to look forward to but I feel wary about getting too excited.

I'm praying everything is ok by August. I really feel for those that are in a position to book and plan. We personally have nothing booked, largely due to the uncertainty of everything. We had to cancel our Maldives holiday in may this year and have put off booking anything else. We know we definitely want a family holiday though and something to look forward to really lifts the spirits. If you can get something booked on a refundable rate then do, and plan away! Life is too short (but we still want our money back if it all goes wrong!)

Our west coast and hawaii trip was cancelled this august and now we have flights to LA for aug 2021 so hoping it goes ahead .
Have decided not to risk booking hawaii again knowing how strict they were about tourists coming in etc so we’ll do that in a couple of years . If august is off then we’ll change the flights to Florida in December instead . Fingers crossed for us all 🤞🏼 |
