I’m so glad I stick with chicken breasts for Christmas lunch. In the slow cooker first thing, roasts, parsnips, stuffing balls and pigs in blankets in the air fryer and microwave red cabbage. Job done. Chilling and dibbing now with a glass of wine.

The turkey is fine. However the carrots and potatoes are not usable. Trying to decide whether we should have sandwiches, frozen chips or frozen spicy potato wedges. DH was pleased to find the sprouts were in the normal fridge and not effected by this at all.

Our rancid Turkey is in the bin and Sainsbury’s will be getting an earful.
Christmas lunch will be a roast chicken (thank you corner shops who open Christmas morning) with ham , step daughter has contributed part of her Turkey for sandwiches. 2020 rumbles on to the bitter end ! |
