I hate sitting still as I get so stiff I get up at least once every 2 hours
I always buy some magazines to read usually finished them in an hour or two
I’ll watch a film to pass the time & try not to look at my watch which I always set for US time when I get on the plane 🇺🇸😎
Time goes so slowly when you’re sitting on a plane 🙄😬
Meanwhile Hubbie will fall asleep when we hit the runway
We always have a breakfast at the airport & just pick at the airline food, I make sure I have a stash of Pringles, minstrels & sweeties too

I love flying, though I’ll admit it wasn’t so great when dd was a toddler but as she’s gotten older it’s back to being good again.

I’m like a kid with holidays, I get this bubbling excitement and just want to burst.

Not hugely keen on the food, though I find business class flight help there.

I’m happy with a boots meal deal though and even that can be fun if there’s a holiday to look forward to.

The next time I get on a plane I think I’m going to burst into happy tears 🤣

I don’t enjoy the flight - it’s a means to an end. I have good intentions of watching a couple of movies, but even now with the kids older, it feels like constant interruptions of “mum”, “mum”, so I usually give up. The return flight is a killer. I can’t sleep, so get grumpy and irritable and can’t wait to get off the plane. DS is usually sick on descent, so I spend the last hour getting prepared! I’ve also started getting really bad sinus pressure on landing, which is awful - probably another factor why I don’t enjoy it! Saying all that, I can’t wait to get on a plane and get away.

I love the idea of it, but when I'm on there I get bored, especially the flight out. I don't get travel sick unlike DH, so I take care of the kids and can't relax. I've never managed to watch a film all the way through as I get 30 minutes in and realise I have no clue what is going on! I'd love to be bored on flight right now though!

I love the flight OUT there - I love the excitement leading up to it, on the day, and obviously all the excitement prior to that, I love take-off, I love watching movies, my own recorded stuff, and listening to music, I love seeing the wispy clouds the nearer to warm climes you get!

The flight BACK is a different matter!
