My two boys did this last year when they were 5 & 7 and it was worth every penny!
They didn't wear a costume, but did have pirate themeded t shirts on,as part of the package they get a bandana, eye patch and earring. As we were walking through the park afterwards loads of people commented on how good they looked.
They didn't want to do the pirate show afterwards so we left before it started but by the sounds of it anyone can join in, regardless if they have had the makeover or not.
One word of advice- the eye make up does not come off easily, for a couple of days my two had beautiful eye liner eyes!

ID:	54499I took my 4 to pirates league last year and they all loved it, the girls chose mermaid makeovers which were really pretty, the boys were both pirates. I just packed outfits that I purchased here for the day, knowing the colour theme of the mermaids makeover and that the boys were going to be pirates it wasn't too difficult. We didn't buy the photo at the end either so it wasn't too pricey, a lot cheaper than the bibbity bobbity boutique thingy! X

My girls had the Mermaid Makeover a couple of weeks ago and it was worth every penny. So much fun and the atmosphere inside Pirates League was great, fun and happy. We didn't buy the girls any clothes for the makeover from the shop (I think there's a t-shirt and tutu for the Mermaid Makeover) as my mil had found some fabulous Ariel dresses in Las Vegas last year so they wore them. I'd def' encourage my kids to do this again for sure
