MDE and Family

My in laws have finally decided to join us in Disney this year. They're currently booked to stay at the same hotel as us, and i've yet to create and link their booking to MDE. Does anyone know if i can just add their hotel and park tickets to my MDE so i can book everyone's fastpasses in one go?

I'll double check with Disney tomorrow, but wanted to see if anyone had done similar

As they are a separate family unit, I would be inclined to think they would be better off setting up their own MDE account and linking their reservation up to their own account to give themselves more flexibility. As opposed to only being listed in your family and friends.

I think you can still connect the accounts afterwards and have one person booking plans fastpasses for everyone, but this means they can then also manage their own plans too if need be. I am not sure how that is done as I have never needed to, but I am sure somebody can comment. In the meantime, I would not link their reservation to your account just yet.

Yes, have them make their own accounts.

You can them add them as friends & family to book/share plans.

Yes my Son and family had his own account , just had to send a request to Son and family to join my friends and family so I made all the fastpasses.
