Transferring a booking from wdw to dlp

Hi all sorry if this is not in the right thread but we made a booking for wdw in august but due to bad health of a family member they now cant fly. We only paid the deposit through wdtc but was wondering if you can transfer the deposit from wdw to dlp instead?

Many thanks all

I am not sure about Disneyland Paris, but we were not able to transfer a Disney World Florida trip to Disneyland California in 2018

I lost my deposit and had to re-book from scratch on the California website.

It is worth asking the question though!

I doubt it. DLP isn't wholly owned by Disney I believe (though I think they own a larger share than they used to as they had to step in and rescue things when DLP had severe financial difficulties).

As you booked with WDTC then it is likely you will be able to - they also sell holidays to DLP. WDTC are like a Disney-owned travel agency and therefore if anyone can change your booking to DLP it will be them. If you had booked with WDW directly then it wouldn't have been possible. Call them and discuss - I have always know them to be really helpful.
