Meal service on late night virgin flight
Following on from my question the other day about our flight being changed to 23:35, was just wondering what type of meal service you get on such a late flight?. Any info greatly appreciated

You'll get a very rushed dinner pretty much as soon as take off happens with drinks service done at the same time rather than separately - or at least this is what I've found from previous late flights (although never been quite that late).

I have never flown so late with Virgin. It sounds, from what the above poster says that they throw your dinner at you so you can go straight to sleep!
We did fly that late from Glasgow to Nova Scotia last year, but it was West Jet where you take your own food, so I have no experience of this. We ate in the airport first. |

On a slightly different note - and apologies to the OP for hijacking their thread - does anyone know what the current food offering is with Virgin in Premium? Thanks.

After a late night flight from JFK to London on Delta where it took three hours before we got fed (in business class no less) meaning the choice was wait to eat or starve and sleep I never rely on the meal service and eat before boarding on late flights now .
