Mobile Photo pass

Hi,

Sorry if this is a daft question but could someone explain what the free photo pass that’s included in our 14 day Disney tickets actually includes?
Do we pay for a particular package when we get there or does it mean literally any photos that are taken by their photographers are free to download online after your trip?!

Is there anything else I need to be aware of/plan for?

Many Thanks

Gill

Have you read the page in the guide book on memory maker?
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Mem...er-p-1452.html
Some of the references are a bit old, but the information is still relevant. There is a page for photo pas, but having had a quick look, the link I’ve given provides better information IMO.

I’m yet to understand the difference between memory maker and photopass, but I think that now they’re essentially the same thing (once they were different but that was before my Disney time).

It’s an amazing perk! We just came back and have over 130 photos taken by the park photographers and a couple of rides that there’s no way we could get ourselves! Also when you are getting a photo taken remember to ask if they do “magic shots” - an extra bit of pixie dust thrown in 😍

As well as park photographers and the ride photos, you can use the studio at Disney Springs and the photobooths in the Parks and Boardwalk too. 😁

Remember to tap your magicband/ticket on the screens showing your photo at the end of the rides.
A few videos also appear on your account, the ride picks up the magicband and does it automatically.
Also you get videos/messages from some characters you meet.

A great tip we read was to skip the first Photopass photographer and they'll usually have the longest queue, and if its somewhere like Main Street, there'll be loads of them slightly further down the street

The one in AK was near Primeval Whirl, this was the only one were used. Boardwalk one should standout, near the water by the shops.
There was a list somewhere back in 2017 when I used it. At that time there was one near Space Mountain? I can't remember where the others were, maybe try googling?

If a family, with a lot of meet and greets etc you can rack up a load of photos (we almost hit 1000 one trip!)
