We have had this happen twice to our boy. Fortunately there were no broken bones. The first time it was in his groin and the second time was in his shoulder. Second time round we involved the police as we'd heard a pellet gun being shot at the fence backing our garages at the back of our house, they made inquiries but turned up nothing. Interestingly after that we didn't hear the pellet gun anymore. We knew who it was but couldn't prove it and the police were rather bumptious and ineffectual sadly. However we were thankful that their inquiries put an end to it.

I hope Doris is OK. yes these people are just heartless scum. One of my cats was poisoned and died a horrible death and I have spent money to catproof my garden so that my 4 cats can go out and play but can't get out of the garden. My neighbours call it Catditz!
