Using dining plan credits for friends not on dining plan

Is it possible to use my dining plan credits for friends. We are a family of 4 and will have 4 friends staying offsite whilst we are there. Is it possible to book a table for 8 and use 8 of our credits to pay. This is Cape May for breakfast that I would like to do this.

Yes. That's not a problem. One of your Magic Bands gets scanned and the credits are removed.

Last Summer we were in the exact scenario that you describe and used 8 of our credits for our party of 4 and a group of friends.

Thank you for the replies. I�ve been reading mixed info so it�s good to know others have done it. One concern I have is we are 4 adults (older children) but 2 of the friends are kids. I think they should just need to charge us as 8 adults - more tip for the server anyway so they might like it!

There's been a thread on here recently about no longer being able to use adult credits to pay for a kids meal. You might need to pay OOP for the kids.

I am hoping they will be able to charge the kids as adults and then use the credits. I think I will ask a few days before going (as staying there) and then cancel if they won�t let me! Would be good to hear if anyone else has done something similar in 2020 since all the changes.

Now you have to upgrade you children�s dining plan to adult plans, it�s quite cheap to do though if you contact Disney they can help you with this
