Dining PLan at Universal?

Staying at Cabana Bay 3 nights in August - Is it worth paying for the dining plan - or stay OOP?

It doesn’t really save you anything at all in money so not worth it in that regard. I like to pre pay for things so it’s good in that sense. We’ve done it a couple of times for the few days we stay at Universal and will do again next year as it helps with my budget. Credits are non expiry. I have a few items like snack credits and drinks I can use next time. Pics in my 2017 and 2019 food reports in my signature below

There are two, one has to be purchased as part of a hotel and ticket package and doesn’t look great value anyway. The other is not bad value if you eat at one of the Harry Potter places as they tend to be expensive but we’ve generally not found it worth it. Part of the problem with buying in advance too is that it’s in $$ so if the exchange rate is poor it’s not great value. The best value we ever had it was when we had annual passes and they did the QS meal plan buy one get one 50% off.

That definitely would make it better value. It always annoyed me that Butterbeer was classed as a snack rather than a drink.
