Cruise tipping

Just wondering what the average suggested tip is at the end of a cruise - we are going for 3 nights on the Disney Dream 2 adults 2 kids. I've read different things and don't want to be not leaving enough. Also, should we tip any cash through the 3 days, or just all at the end? So much to get my head around thanks

You will get something in your room just before the last night which will tell you what Disney’s suggestion of what you should tip. I used this and gave some more for outstanding service.

We always prepay ours when we pay for the cruise. This year they came to £26.86 each.
You will get tickets to put in envelopes to give out on your last night. We always add some extra dollars for ones who added a bit of extra magic.

Thanks, just so I've got an idea of cost. My mind was working overtime, thinking, what if it's like £500 tips lol 😂

Disney Cruise Line's recommended gratuities are $4 per person (adult or child), per day, for the dining room server; $3 per person, per day, for the assistant server; $1 per person, per day, for the head server; and $4 per person, per day, for the room steward.

Tips can either be prepaid up to three days prior to the start of your sailing or will be automatically charged to onboard accounts. To adjust the amount of your automatic tips or to tip independently, see the purser's office.

An automatic 15 percent gratuity is added to bar, beverage, wine and deck service tabs. An 18 percent gratuity is added to spa services. It is suggested that cruisers tip a couple of dollars for room service as it's delivered.

Yeah, we booked direct with DCL so I'll give them a call and try to pre pay.
