Taxi transfers from Sandford to Disney?
Hi guys, does anyone know or has recently used a reliable, trustworthy taxi transfer from Sandford airport to a Disney hotel?
We are flight only with Tui, staying on property(CBR), never been to Sandford before, we’re also a couple of dinosaurs who have no idea about Uber etc... and prefer to do things the old fashioned way! 🙄 Thanks in advance. |

I have just had a look at Mears taxi calculator and it says $150.00 which seems a lot.

Uber price estimate says $56. It's very easy to do on the app, just download it before you go and search for CBR when you get there.

It's almost 50 miles from Sanford airport to CBR (Google maps says 48 miles). So I'm not surprised that a taxi might cost $150.
The OP could book a private transfer with Quicksilver Transportation - see the link above this thread. It'll cost around $130 (+ tip) one-way for a town car. Or, as mentioned above, they could try Uber.

Have you looked at Tui coaches? They take people who are on a package deal so you might be able to pay for transfers that way

you should have a free transfer with TUI from sanford or have you booked flight only.
other option is a one way car hire for the day, works out cheaper then taxis |

Can you pay for the TUI transfer if you’re flight only?

The cost when I looked in 2018 was almost as much as a taxi.
Uber is easy and cheap and efficient

we flew into sanford in November this year and there were coaches waiting to depart. I took a pic with details on for such an event. I will look through my pics and post the details
not sure if it just goes to universal but you could use it to get there and uber to your hotel. did a dummy run for march 2020 and was £16.50 per person return here we go: attractionexpress Edited at 11:53 AM. |
