Advice re not collecting car

Good Afternoon
I am looking for some advice. We booked our Virgin Package a while ago and today I have made a fly drive booking as this was the best way to add both sons girlfriends. They will not be picking up the car as they will be coming with us. When do we tell them they won’t be picking the car up? We booked a package like this so they could come into the V Room with us. Do you tell Alamo before hand.
We have a big enough car and we have upgraded the apartment size to cater for them.

Someone may correct me.. but I'm pretty sure you don't need to tell Virgin/Alamo you're not collecting your car as you should already have your rental voucher because it's classed as pre-paid.

I'm sure Alamo don't track pre-paid bookings per day either, so they'll be non the wiser you don't collect..

Ooooh it most certainly looks that way! However we're flying BA as it was miles cheaper than VA, how exciting!

Slightly different as it's Avis, but I spoke to them to see if we could pick up the car the day after we arrived (arriving late into Miami and have an on site hotel booked... ). I was told that all hire cars not collected automatically get cancelled at midnight. Flight numbers are checked in case theyre delayed, but I'm sure you just dont need to bother collecting your vehicle.

We've done several flydrives and never picked up the car.

We've never informed virgin or alamo and its never been any problem

We've had to fly drives, both with TUI and didn't pick up the cars as it was cheaper to hire them from a third party.
