We were there Saturday - Saturday last week and every day was beautifully warm with temperatures in the high 20s...

Hoping it’s warm enough to sit round the pool (if not in it!).

We were in the pool every day, bar Friday, and had two days at Blizzard Beach and the weather was perfect for that.

I'd say it was actually better than our many July/August trips because although it was very warm the sun was less fierce, so less chance of getting sunburnt.

Did you surprise hubby with the 50th surprise? or did you book it together?
(Planning something similar) 🤞

We definately were able to sit by the pool on all days (except Friday) - We had pool heating and we were able to use the pool and spa X

It was supposed to be a surprise - his birthday was in December so he found out then.
I booked the week away well before our trip in the summer and was working out how to convince him that upgrading our Universal passes to Annual Passes would be a good idea! He did admit that he had guessed - but I think he really enjoyed it.

We were there for the same week! It was so cold on Friday wasn’t it!

I had the opposite problem to you with flight temperature, on the way home it was so hot that I actually started to feel unwell, luckily rectified with turning up the air, but it was a struggle to reach as I also had perma-recliners in front!

After seeing Mardi Gras on a few vlogs I really want to go, it looks great. Did you try to get on a float?

Our favourite with 2 adult and a ds12 dd8 is sweet tomatoes.
My kids don’t like chips, bit odd cos mum n dad do. They like McDonald’s as you’d expect but don’t care for fries.
Sweet tomatoes they love the pick your own stuff at the beginning, usually cucumber and a few bits n bobs, then pizza inside and the ice cream machine with a brownie. Also without sounding tight not having to tip outrageous 20% for service that’s not always good.
Thumbs up for sweet tomatoes, also luv a dunkin donut for the villa.
