Flying to Miami on Sunday from Heathrow with Reward Flights, bookings linked, and I did the "Bid to Upgrade".

She got upgraded to Premium, but... I got upgraded to Upper Class

I thought any bid would be for the both of us, as that's what the page states when bidding! I've been onto Flying Club via text and they can't help, I need to ask at the desk, don't think she'll be too happy

I’d swap seats to be honest.

However, i do find these threads interesting. Had it been how do I tell my husband rather than missus would there be talk of sleeping on the sofa or swapping seats 😊

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest, I'd be happy in PE, UC is wasted on me as I never eat anything and don't drink alcohol. The last time we flew upper the cabin crew kept checking that I was feeling OK as I only drank water and OJ, no food.

As a gesture of goodwill though and to make you feel better I would take your luggage allowance
