Booking BA making it a package - how?

Is there a specific way to do this when only wanting to add on one nights accommodation for the night we arrive and make it a package?

Having trialled it by booking a flight and adding on one night hotel without entering all my details it is just showing the total cost i.e. no deposit. If I were to enter all my details when I click through does it package it up on the payment page with a deposit?

When going through the Flight and hotel tab the flights are much more expensive.

Did you click the ‘create custom trip’ option? Add your flights, then add your hotel (it will give you several options if you click the right button!). This should give you the option to book as a package, with deposit only...

ETA, I’ve just tried this, and it came up with a deposit option

As above use customise your trip - can then flex your flights and accommodation and end up with a single price and deposit.

We also add on a car as find doing it this way is often cheaper than booking separately.

I have also booked the hotel.the night before the flight and a night in London a month or two later and it still packages it up.

Have tried to book through the link but it’s not giving me the option to pay a deposit, only in full. Any ideas?

Go on the BA website, click on the flight + hotel option, then click on customise trip and do it from there. That's how i've booked all my recent holidays with BA

You are likely searching for flight and then after you have selected flights you are adding the hotel or car. You need to click flight+car or flight + hotel or customise my trip first and search that way.

I have never been able to do this either.

I have just looked for Paris and airport hotel but it either requires full payment. Or if I try another way, it wants to add in a Paris hotel rather than an airport hotel the night before. Has anyone been able to do that?
