Tickets for 2020
Hi All
Anyone know whether Disney tickets will be available for this year as we are supposed to fly out on 5th Sept, haven't got them yet as weren't sure that we were going to be able to go. On there website it says they will be on sale from the 28th June for arrivals starting in 2021. Any ideas for 2020 PLEASE> John

I don’t think they’ve announced a date just that it will be later this year.
I guess they need to gage park reservations before they open up new sales. |

I guess they'll wait until after the parks have reopened and see how booked up the parks are.
If there's still plenty of availability of park reservations when the parks reopen then I would expect them to start selling a limited number of tickets for 2020 again. If there's no availability of park reservations when the parks reopen then I wouldn't expect them to sell 2020 park tickets. Plus, there would be no point buying them because you'd need a park reservation to get into the park.

I'm wondering the same for APs. When they go on sale will they only be valid for 2021 onwards...

I heard on a Vlog that they have said later this summer but that's a bit vague. I do know that all guests still going were asked to confirm & pay in full by June 10th. I don't see them opening them up whilst still in Phase 1 so if like the UK they are "moving" every few weeks I'd expect Phase 2 to be August- after all they aren't even open for another 3 weeks, not to mention that Florida might be about to "spike".
I would certainly be looking at availability prior to buying any passes, no point in having them if you can't get in IYKWIM SD

How do you check availability if you don't have any tickets?
Thanks You

We have 3 weeks booked end of October beginning of November and always have left our ticket purchase to closer to travel. We are staying onsite and offsite and we are just sitting pinning all our hope on the "later in the summer' quote!
My theory is that once the initial wave of bookings and chaos calms down and the parks open giving them a look at the demand, they will go to the next phase which to me is guests with resort reservations and offer at the least enough park days to match the reservation and then open to anyone else from there? I know Seaworld/Busch is not Disney but if you look at their policy at the start was "no access without reservation" became walk up and buy your ticket at the gate and get a reservation. The crowd levels here and at Universal have all steadily reduced after the initial spike of interest.
