Best/easiest/cheapest way to set up a website?

my auntie has a shop in my home town selling stationary, art supplies, craft supplies and a few other bits and bobs.

Of course she now has to shut for a month, someone has suggested she does herself a website so she still might be able to earn some money but she isn't very techy.

Any suggestions for where she could start? 🥰

What about starting with a Facebook page and posting to market place?
Etsy is alright but takes a bit of getting used to and fees are high.
I used square up to make my website - but it wasn’t the easier process (mine is mibagsandstuff.co.uk) there are probably easier places to use, but they again can be a bit pricey!

I've heard good things about square space for its simplicity and support.

Usually quite easy to find some discount codes for when your first setting up too.

I'd use Facebook business pages. That way you can share and share and share to promote. You can leave it open so people without Facebook can see it.

You could be admin to help her?

Post links via twitter and insta. The more people share the more chance she has of getting new customers.

Also if she has an actual premises put a poster in the shop window with the Facebook details.

Setting up a website is simple , the challenge is the layout, the stock listing and the ordering , processing etc.
You also have to consider who your agent will be to handle the credit card payments or chose paypal.
Because of all this some of the large companies (listed above) may not seem the easiest option, but do give you the level of support you will need.
For a small business listing on amazon/ebay is possibly your route into online selling.
