What would you change about your home?

We moved last year from a town house with a small garden to a country house with half an acre of garden. Now I wish it was more garden, everything else is perfect.

What one thing would you change about your home?

That it was finished. We have been renovating it ourselves (in between working)for the last 3 years and there is always something that needs doing.
I will be glad when all I have to do is keep it clean.

That the front room was on the bottom floor instead of the first floor.

New windows needed, but don't like speaking to double glazing sales people.

Not sure I’m reading it right, you have half an acre garden and wish it was more garden?

Similar to you, moved from a town estate house to rural property on 1/3 acre plot. We look onto a field which I wish we owned. The house has needed massive renovation which we are about 2/3rds way through. One thing we can’t change is how ugly it is 1970’s style but starting to love the inside as we do it up! Apart from those just wish it would stop throwing up problems for us including roof leaking😭

Our house has a very small hall, I wish I had a big hallway that was a room in its own right.

I would also like to change the garden, have it more or less completely gravelled / paved over and have a nice outdoor cooking space.

It’s a semi and I wish it was detached. A lovely view would be my second choice.

I'd change how steep the driveway is. It's fine for the cars but I have an irrational worry about people slipping over as they come down it.
