Looking at excursions at the moment and am thinking of doing them privately myself. Has anyone used Cruise Excursions?
On a side note have you seen the news about the crane falling on the Oasis whilst in for repair this week? Looks like it might be out of action for a few weeks but thankfully no one seriously injured.
Oh make sure you post some updates here them as you're going a fair bit before us!

Yes been following that since it happened yesterday evening. No real facts yet (beyond nobody being seriously injured) just lots of speculation, but the newer picture I just saw does show a crushed balcony, and one of the Aqua Theatre screens wrecked too. But apparently RCI will be doing a press conference at 5pm (their time) so let's see.

The only extras I have booked so far are 'The Key' and a cupcake decorating event on the sea day before finishing the cruise.

I plan to take time over the Easter break to see where we fancy/plan to book.

I have been hoping to get a deal on the refreshment package but so far no luck.

I will let you know how our cruise goes when we get back.

Just back at the weekend from the Oasis of the Seas Cruise and have to say we had a fabulous time.

We had my time dining and ate each evening in the Main Dining Room, the food was fabulous and the service was excellent.

This was our first ever cruise and before hand I was slightly apprehensive about the number of people on board but it was all good.

We purchased the key but really don’t think this was good value for our cruise, it may work out better on other ships.

Hope you have a fabulous cruise.

We did this cruise earlier this month, our first ever cruise, and we thought it was amazing. Even though it was peak summer holidays we never felt the ship was crowded. We did end up taking the stairs a bit as the lifts were rammed, but not a problem, helped us walk off some of the food 😊

We took the stairs too on numerous occasions but I don’t think it helped us any with the food, we both came back heavier So much food everywhere

10 days to go for me!

Good to hear back from a few that have done it! I'm still pretty chill about the whole thing. All I know so far is that I am going to do Cinque Terre on La Spezia day, and on Rome day I'm staying on board to enjoy the ship, as I figure lots will get off to see Rome, but I have been there for a long weekend fairly recently.

Also two other friends are now joining us. We have booked our shows and dinner on the second night in Izumi. MDR for the rest, and I am obsessed with French Onion Soup, So if that's good it will be my starter every night!

I did join a gym and start seeing a trainer 6 weeks ago, so I can imagine him being upset with me in three weeks when I come back from the cruise!

I put on 3.5KG on my America trip but I don't regret one calorie of it. Back on the diet again but I enjoy it

The soups on the Independence last week were gorgeous. Definitely recommend the prawn bisque, cauliflower and beef consommé. My FiL and son both loved the French Onion.
